"Jimmy Kimmel, how many years do you think you're gonna get away with this?" a boy asked during the annual segment.

Jimmy Kimmel announced the winners of the eighth annual "I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy" prank on Thursday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The host shared that the show received over 1,000 videos of parents telling their children that they ate all of their Halloween candy before showing "the best of the best" clips.

The first video showed a young boy clench his fists in anger. "You could get sick," he told his mother. "Then you can't poop."

Another boy shrieked, "No!" when he was informed that his parents got hungry and ate his candy the night before.

A young girl's mouth dropped open in horror after he mother told her that she ate all of her candy. The girl later said, "I'm so disappointed in you."

Another clip showed a young boy looking into his large, empty candy bowl and bursting into tears. "We're so sad," he yelled through tears as he looked into his empty trick-or-treating pumpkin bucket.

The following clip showed a mother telling her two sons that all of their candy is gone. One fell to the floor in tears, while the other looked at the camera and calmly shrugged.

Clips of the parents explaining to the kids that Kimmel put them up to the prank followed. Many of the children said that they didn't like Kimmel, while one child responded, "He's a freaking idiot."

While some of the videos include kids that shout and become physical after learning that their candy is gone, others assure their parents that they still love them. "I'm telling you, candy is not that special," a girl told her mother.

One father asked his son if he still loves him, to which the son responded, "Well, not anymore, because you ate all of my candy."

Other children tried to punish their parents with tactics like sending them to their rooms and telling them that they are disappointed by their actions.

Another clip showed an unsuspecting son sitting at the kitchen table while his mother told him what she did. The boy's brother then walked in from the other room at said, "Oh no, this is fake. I know this." The skeptical son called her bluff by pointing out that the mom had shown them the videos featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live from past years.

"Jimmy Kimmel, how many years do you think you're gonna get away with this?" a boy asked at the end of the segment.
