BOSTON (AP) â" Boston health officials are warning about possible exposure to measles.
The city Public Health Commission said Friday two areas were potentially impacted by a recently confirmed case.
Officials say anyone who visited the Tasty Burger on Boylston Street on July 19 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Logan International Airport's Terminal B on July 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. were potentially exposed and could become ill between now and August 10.
The highly contagious, airborne virus is typically spread through coughing a nd sneezing but can remain in the environment for up to two hours.
Symptoms include high fever, red eyes and red spots on the face. Anyone experiencing these symptoms should contact their health care provider immediately.
