Captain Marvel will be headed to Disneyland Paris next year for the parkâs Summer of Superheroes event, like a comic book crossover come to life (except instead of shipping delays, you get long-ass lines). Captain Marvel will join other Marvel superheroes including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, and more. Marvel.com does their best to explain what the event is about:
Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studiosâ âCaptain Marvelâ â" hitting theaters on March 8 â" is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universeâs most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
This and more epic Marvel Universe stories will take on their full meaning at Disneyland Paris with the return of Marvel Summer of Super Heroes, featuring thrilling entertainment across Walt Disney Studios Park. In addition to Captain Marvel, Groot will arrive to help save the galaxy during this fan-favorite event. Itâs all happening starting March 23!
Weâre still not sure exactly what âstories will take on their full meaningâ means, but weâre sure itâs well worth the $91 per person ticket price. And if you canât wait until March to experience Captain Marvel and the rest of the Marvel gang live, you can always set sail on the Disney Cruise Lineâs Marvel Day at Sea starting in January, which will feature more of the same:
For the first time ever, guests will encounter one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel universe as part of an action-packed, day-long celebration aboard select Disney Magic sailings departing Jan. 6 through March 8 from Miami.
Captain Marvel joins the eventâs awesome line-up of Super Heroes and villains, including Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Loki, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and more.
Superheroes is one god damn word, Marvel. You should know this.

About Jude Terror
A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.
Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
