The actress' influence over the world has increased three-fold post her stint as Alex Parrish in the American crime-drama Quantico. It came as no surprise that the actress was honoured by Time Magazine as an honouree in the 100 Most Influential People's list in 2017. In 2018, PeeCee has found a spot in yet another prestigious list - People's 25 Women Changing the World 2018.
Since becoming Miss World in 2000, Priyanka has been inspired to make a difference in the world. "I realized I had a position of power and I could associate myself with causes I really believed in," the actress shared. The Sky is Pink star has worked with UNICEF as a global Goodwill Ambassador and had recently visited Bangladesh to spread the message of children's education. "The field trips are the most special because you meet incredible kids and survivors. That has been one of my joyous moments, being able to help advocate children’s rights and children’s welfare around the world."
"That moved me so much in being able to go to places where these kids have no voice or no one listening to them, and actually shedding light on that. Working with these brave children around the world, the one thing that has changed in me is I do not take my life for granted," Priyanka added.
