Mike Myers Returns as Dr. Evil to Announce Congressional Run on 'Tonight Show'

Mike Myers returned to the Tonight Show on Monday as his character Dr. Evil to announce he was running for Congress.
Interrupting host Jimmy Fallonâs show, Myers appeared in character, laughing maniacally. âDr. Evil, is that you?â Fallon asked. âNo, itâs white Cory Booker,â Myers responded.
When asked why heâd be running for public office, Myers responded, âItâs 2018, evilâs in right now. Itâs hip. Itâs like playing Fortnite while slamming a Tide pod and doing the Shiggy challenge.â
Myers then conceded that he was âoriginally hoping for Brett Kavanaughâs job,â but âTrump said I was too even-tempered for that.â
â¨Fallon asked Dr. Evil what state he was running in, considering that he lives in a secret lair inside of a volcano, to which Myers divulged, âI do, but itâs in Rhode Island.â
When asked if he was running as a Democrat or Republican, Myers responded, âNeither, Iâm running as an Eviltarian. Our ultimate goal is to make America evil again,â Myers said, holding up a red hat with the slogan emblazoned on it.â
He then laid out his "five-point evil plan" which included such steps as making only one flavor of Pringle available and appointing Donald Trump Jr. as secretary of the treasury because the "guy's made of dough."
