Dr. Evil threw the American public a frickinâ bone by gracing Monday nightâs episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with his maniacal presence.
Actor Mike Myers reprised his role as the iconic Austin Powers villain on the eve of midterm elections in a sketch on the late-night talk show, jokingly introducing himself as âwhite Cory Bookerâ before announcing that heâs running for a congressional seat.
âItâs 2018. Evilâs in right now. Itâs hip. Itâs like playing Fortnite while slamming a Tide Pod and doing the Shiggy Challenge,â Evil told Fallon. âOriginally I was hoping for Brett Kavanaughâs job but Trump said I was too even-tempered for that.â
Dr. Evil added that heâs running for office as an âEviltarianâ as opposed to a Republican or Democrat, with âMake America Evil Againâ serving as his campaign slogan.
He also confirmed details regarding his platform, which he describes as a âfive-point Evil planâ that involves making sure âthe only flavor of Pringles will be Screaming Dill Pickle,â making Donald Trump Jr. the Secretary of the Treasury because âhe actually looks like heâs made out of dough,â legalizing weed, changing the national anthem to the viral song âJohny Johny Yes Papa,â and increasing the wait time before you can skip an ad on YouTube from five seconds to eight seconds.
