Justin Bieber Cried at Harry Potter World, Just Like You and Me

Celebrity Sightings in Los Angeles - Novembber 1, 2018

Justin Bieber’s buzz cut happened in Florida. Florida! Orlando, specificallyâ€"a good place to shave your head. He, Hailey, and the rest of his family< /a> visited Disney World and Universal Studios for Halloween weekend. His dad Jeremy Bieber’s Instagram post from the weekend show him with his famously unkempt locks, and then by Tuesday, fan photos show him out and about, shorn and sleek.

But now there is new information to enter into the record of Bieber’s life. On Friday, the Daily Mail published photos from the previous Sunday night of him crying at the Leaky Cauldron in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter while Baldwin tried to soothe him. So, looking back at the timeline, he was crying and had long hair. And the next thing we know, he was smiling in a bathroom selfie with short hair. Is that cause for alarm? Should we be concern ed? As I’ve said before in yet another article about Bieber’s head from this week, drastic haircuts usually signify breakups or breakdowns. To go from crying to short hair might signal something a little more disconcerting than your typical cranky-at-theme-park tears.

The last time he was crying in public with Baldwin, he walked out of his apartment the next day with a book on Christian marriage, and told TMZ that’s what the tears were about. “You got good days and you got bad days,” he said. In other words, sometimes you’re up on top of Splash Mountain, with that Florida breeze flowing through your mane, and sometimes you’re crying into your butterbeer at the Leaky Cauldron at Universal Studios.

But tell me, who hasn ’t cried at a theme park? We’ve all done it. Mom said it was overstimulation and a sudden blood-sugar drop, but I think it was the revelation that no one can live inside the cartoons, that the promise of Space Jam would never be realized. Is that what Bieber was crying about? That everything is fake? The butterbeer didn’t taste quite how he’d imagined; that he never got his Hogwarts letter? Been there, too, honestly. Who can say what made him sad, except for Bieber and Baldwin and probably his manager and bodyguards and maybe the person who took the picture. Maybe it was the fact that there are so many haircut options out there for a young man such as himself to choose from. Options can overwhelm, and Bieber is the boy who lived with options.
