Jennifer Garner, Billy Eichner, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jimmy Fallon, Cynthia Nixon and John Krasinski are among the stars who posted about their involvement in the midterm elections on Tuesday.

Many stars took to social media on Tuesday to share that they voted in the 2018 midterm elections. A number of the photos consist of the stars wearing their "I voted" stickers, while others included why it is important to vote in their caption.

Accompanied by a photo of her wearing a blue sweater and her sticker, Mindy Kaling, who previously suggested in a tweet that Trump's effort to end birthright citizenship guaranteed in the 14th Amendment would invalidate her own status as a U.S. citizen, captioned a photo on Instagram, "Thank you 14th & 19th Amendment for letting me vote today! Comment or tag yourself if you feel the same!"

Reese Witherspoon also shared that she voted on Instagram. The actress posted a photo with the simple caption, "I voted! How about you?!"

Sarah Jessica Parker posted a video on her Instagram page that shows off an "I am a voter" pin attached to her sweatshirt, which states the same phrase. "I hope you are too," she captioned the video before alluding to inclement weather in New York. "As the motto goes 'Neither snow nor rain...stays...' THIS courier from getting to the polling place and casting my ballot."

Taylor Swift, who has been encouraging fans to post photos on their own social media accounts after voting, spoke about the importance of voting in a series of Instagram stories. “I’m seeing a lot of underestimation of young voters in this new generation who now have the right to vote just in the last couple of years,” she said in her story. "But these are people who grew up post-9/11. They grew up with school shooting drills at their schools. These are people who want to vote."

“It’s not enough to just want change,” Swift continued. “It’s not enough to just want to vote. You have to go and make change by voting.”

David Chang shared on his Instagram story a photo of his absentee ballot, along with the caption, "If we are ever honored to get *** amazing. But sort of want to be the longest tenured ** ever."

Judy Greer shared that she voted on her Instagram story. In one video she whispers that she hopes everyone is voting, while she shows off her "I voted" sticker in another clip.

Sophia Bush reflected on her experience of early voting in an Instagram post. The actress wrote, "I voted early. It was honestly so much fun. So poignant. I went skipping down the street singing afterward. No joke!"
