Frank Ocean has returned with a new episode of his Beats 1 show Blonded Radio.
Tune in here for "Midterms Pt. 1" and/or peruse this post for more info, early risers.
Ocean, Vegyn, and the rest of the team spoke candidly across Tuesday's episode about voting, fascism, and more. Speaking on free speech, Ocean said it was a "two-way street" and noted Republicans' tendency to "deal more in fantasies." Ocean specifically called out the preposterousness of PizzaGate idiots, gerrymandering efforts, and more.
"We're against gerrymandering," Ocean said. "We're against voter ID laws. We're against voter suppression." Ocean also noted the "anti-intellectual" movement at the center of the right's mindset. Addressing evangelical voters, Ocean proposed a more productive way of reading the Holy Bible. "If Jesus didn't say it, don't read that shit," he said.
As far as music, the selections were perfectly varied. Valee, The Carters, Retro X, Jadakiss, La Goony Chonga, Arthur, and Playboi Carti were among those fortunate enough to have a featured cut on the latest episode of Ocean's show. Fittingly, the episode closed out with the Honeydrippers' 1973 classic "Impeach the President."

Speaking of Carti, he recently let fans in on a little secret: He and Ocean supposedly have a fleet of songs together already in the bag. "Frank Ocean, he's the GOAT," Carti told the Cruz Show back in July. "The last time I worked with him was in New York about a month ago. We did, like, five songs."
POST CONTINUES BELOWIn addition to a new episode of Blonded Radio, Tuesday also brought the announcement that Ocean was gifting fans with free merch if they voted.
