The Christian singer was criticized by a portion of her audience for debuting on the Oct. 24 episode of the openly gay talk show hostâs program.
âI think the second we start drawing lines around which people are able to be approached and which arenât, weâve already completely missed the heart of God,â Daigle told WAY-FM Radio in response to the backlash.
âI donât have all the answers in life and Iâm definitely not gonna act like I do,â she continued. âBut the one thing that I know for sure is I canât choose who Iâm supposed to be kind to and who Iâm supposed to show love to and who Iâm not because thatâs the mission right? Be who Christ was to everyone.â
