On July 20th, 1969, humans landed on the moon for the first time. 49 years later, the photos from the iconic mission still capture a sense of wonder. Thanks to The Project Apollo Archive, you can browse thousands of high-resolution, unprocessed images from NASA's Apollo missions on Flickr. There are detailed photos of the moon's surface, but also out-of-frame outtakes and quiet moments from an astronaut's life (many of the photos are taken by the astronauts themselves with a Hasselblad).
