WWEâs first pay-per-view dedicated exclusively to the Womenâs division â" Evolution is set for its historic debut on Monday. While all the female wrestlers in the locker room are gearing up for the pay-per-view, Hall of Famer Lita will also be one of the several stars in action. At Evolution, Lita will finally get a chance to settle the scores with her in-ring foe Mickie James, some 11 years after the latter ended her career with a defeat at Survivor Series in 2006. Lita was last seen in action during this yearâs Royal Rumble sporting a gear which read- #TIMESUP. At Evolution, she joins forces with fellow Hall of Famer Trish Stratus to battle the team of Alexa Bliss and James. Before stepping into the four-square once again the former member of Team Xtreme spoke to Indian Express and gave an insight into what lies in store at Evolution promised to bring back the Attitude era for the WWE Universe.
âI had an open mind about whom I was going to face and was happy to take on anyone from the roster. But when I got know it was Mickie James, I was really excited because I know her really well. It helps me a lot as I know what to expect, what to train for and I also know what she does out there.â
âWhat you can expect a vintage style attitude era match. Really remind people of our feud back in days. So expecting to go a full circle and build on what we have already,â she added.
Lita has also been keeping a keen eye on the current roster and while Becky Lynch has grabbed her attention with quite a few incredible performances it is the Queen who remains her favourite. âMy favourite is Charlotte. Becky, Sasha and Charlotte had a wonderful transition from NXT to the main roster. But it is Charlotte who has come into her own from her time in NXT to being the multi-time champion and really owning the ring. So my favourite overall performer, not only physically but also embodying her character, is Charlotte.â
On possible feud with fellow Hall of Famer Trish Stratus for one last time, she said, âWe always talk about teaming up together but that conversation usually peels off. It will be fun to face each other one last time. But as much as I would love to team up with her it would be equally fun one last match.â
